Dedicated to Lord Krishna, this is one of the most sacred and historic temples in Jaipur. The temple houses an idol of Govind Devji, believed to have been crafted by Krishna’s great-grandson, Bajranabh. A unique legend associated with the temple is, an Englishman placed a pulse-operated wristwatch on the idol over 50 years ago to test the belief that the deity was alive and the watch is ticking till date. This fascinating blend of history and legend makes the Govind Devji Temple a must-visit for both devotees and curious travelers.
