Begin the activity by climbing a narrow staircase to the Radha Vallabh Temple, where this art form is practiced. Observe a live demonstration of Jal Saanjhi, using secret ingredients to prepare the water canvas. Learn the process of layering patterns with 200-year-old stencils and vibrant colours to create stunning depictions of Krishna’s life. Watch the intricate removal of stencils and the completion of the artwork, a process that demands exceptional skill. The session concludes with a display of the finished painting, rippling gently on the water.
